It gives 6 foot of headroom in the saloon, and it gives protection to the aft cockpit which has a relatively raised cockpit floor. This in turn gives more space and headroom in the aft cabin, below the cockpit. Two large central hatches and six opening port-lights provide an abundance of natural light. The two cabins, fore and aft, have accommodation more usually associated with a 36 footer. The Cruiser 33 enjoys many of the innovative features of the new Cruiser range including a bathing platform which spans the width of the stern. It is manually lowered and raised on the Cruiser 33 model, but with ingenious counter balancing, and sturdy hinges, it is an effortless exercise. The instruments and leather bound wheel are mounted on a central binnacle. The decks are uncluttered with only the halyards and reefing lines led aft and as with the entire range, the conventional mainsail can be reefed single handed, without leaving the cockpit.
