This 48ft foot Powercat was designed and built in NSW, constructed at the Sanctuary yard in Newcastle. Launched in 2010 she was built with a great deal of involvement by the owner as he specifically wanted a boat capable of holding a large group for a party and the next day be able to pull up the anchor and head away to explore the coastline and not have to compromise in either scenario. It is quite remarkable how well he has achieved this from both angles.
The cavernous saloon with U shaped Galley to Stbd has access to all four cabins. Forward facing windows fill the room with light and once the glass doors are open to the aft deck it becomes one huge space capable of holding a crowd.
Sensible features to the boat such as the stowable table top and ample storage for all provisions and boating equipment just further enhance the feeling of space.
Designed with additional buoyancy and watertight collision bulkheads on each hull. It has increased the bridgedeck clearance and subsequently the handling of the boat is further enhanced. Powered by Volvo D3 engines (installed in 2010) the boat will gently sip from her 2400L capacity tanks and take you wherever you want to go.
Above is the Flybridge. The enclosed design creates an additional saloon behind the helm and with A/C and a full entertainment system it has enough creature comforts to make it the best room in the house. Aft is another private deck.

SALOON: Enormous Saloon with seating and table to Port with adjacent day bed. Full mini bar and surround sound entertainment, what more can you ask for! Excellent headroom and space, the boat will handle a crowd for both long and short trips and is perfect for the entertainer in you. The saloon flows out to the aft deck and creates a very large entertaining area when the glass doors are opened up. Forward facing views through the windows and great 360 degree awareness. Stairs lead to the flybridge, where a small L shaped sofa ensures this doubles as a secondary lounge. A private Flybridge aft deck is accessed through glass doors leading to an external table and seating.
