‘Moonshadow’ is an extremely well looked after and regularly maintained Catalina 34 Mk1.5. Very similar to the MkII with a larger engine and walk through stern, but maintaining the on deck teak that gives her real character. The Catalina 34 has a lovely spacious cockpit (biggest in its class) where you can comfortably seat 6 people around a table, and 2 more on the stern seating.
She is very easy to sail with a furling headsail and lazy jacks, so much so you can take her out single handed. With the assymetrical spinnaker (with sock for ease of use) you can really get her moving to excite your guests or even perform in a race.
Powered by a 23hp diesel that is extremely economic at only 2.5L/hr, she is a breeze to manoeuvre for getting into that tight anchorage or back into your pen.
