13.4m / 44ft. Offshore Cruiser With Fully Equiped Cabin And Spacious Aft Deck

The RLAN14 provides an extremely spacious boat in terms of length and beam and features a spacious cabin. It can achieve relatively high speeds at the lowest possible cost and the design enable the boat to operate at moderately high speeds with relatively small engine. The standard boat can be customised to suit various roles. The cabin can be located either forward or aft and the cabin roof can extend over the full length of the aft deck if additional protection is required. The drive system can either be jet, direct drive or stern leg with either diesel or petrol engines. The aft transom area can be an open area onto a swim platform or be enclosed. Other variations are almost unlimited

PRICE: NZD 685,000 Base Price. This includes simple cabin without extended roof, basic galley, head, cold water and Twin diesel jet total 400hp, built to NZ MSA survey. We can quote on limitless variations.

MOORING
In order to keep the ropes away from the tubes, mooring is achieved by a relatively high Sampson post in the bow and bollards at the transom. Mooring ropes are held in lockable fairleads where they pass over the tube.

To anchor the vessel there is a reinforced guide incorporated into the tube at the bow. It is recommended that the anchor warp is fastened to the painter so that the weight of the vessel is carried on the forward towing eye rather than over the tube. A fold out stainless steel fairlead and capstan are optional extras.

HANDLING AND MANEUVERABILITY
At low and high speeds with the twin drive and jet combination ensure the boat is very manoeuvrable. The boat can hover in a stationary position at full revs and manoeuvre precisely to port, starboard, forward or reverse, by delicate movements of the control. Likewise at full speed the boat can turn or stop in two boat lengths.

STEERING POSITION
The helm is situated on the starboard side with a passenger to its right. There is adequate space available for electronics and charts display. All equipment in the steering position is water resistant to cope with the moist conditions.
