|Enjoy this beautiful Seawind 1160 sailing catamaran with a group of new friends as partners ! This yacht was built for the original owners in July 2009, and is fully equipped with every extra you can think of for short and long distance cruising here in Australia and Overseas as well.
"Yandanooka" comes in the 'owners version' with 3 cabins: the port side cabin furnished with an island double bed. Cork soles have been fixed to the outside cockpit and step areas, and a double helm seat has been fixed for greater comfort. The cockpit also has dual steering wheels, full instrumentation with Rx and Tx AIS systems, with full Raymarine instrumentation including Radar overlays on colour screen, Raymarine Auto Pilot, and Raymarine wind and Depth gauges.
This yacht has the power of twin Yanmar (3YM30C) 30HP diesel engines with Gori 3-blade 'overdrive' propellers. Motors have around 2200 hours. Diesel tanks on each hull hold 180 litres each, and additional 200 litres is stored in Jerrys.
Extra electric power from twin solar panels with digital display, a Superwind 350watt wind turbine, and 100amp alternators. A new starting battery fitted October 2016, complemented with 2 x 260 amphour sealed batteries for House Power. A portable Honda 2KVa generator is also on board.
Water can be carried in the 700 litre storage tank and 'made' using the diesel engine powered 'Stella' watermaker giving between 70 to 100 litres per hour.
Communications on board with Raymarine VHF radio, a Barrett HF system with dedicated battery system and sidestay insulated antenna for superb comms. This yacht also has a digital TV/DVD system and AM/FM/Ipod sound systems. An on-board telphone system with WiFi, plus a Blu-Ray security system is fitted.
The galley has a 3-burner gas and oven with 2 x 9.5kg gas bottles, sniffer, and has a regular fridge and two bench top freezers plus a large cockpit fridge which can also freeze for long term food storage. In the galley also: a coffee pod machine, electric kettle, toasters and yogurt maker !
All safety gear is on board, including a Great Circle 6-man Safety Raft (recertified October 2016) and this yacht has (October 2016) been passed to Cat Two YA Safety standards. Water tight bulkheads have been retro fitted to the rear of each engine, and also in each forward hull.
Both the mainsail and the self-tacking jib are by Barracuda Sails, Sydney and are tafetta backed cruising laminate. Other sails are orange emergency storm jib, a 135% genoa by Taskers and a Spinaker in sock.
Incidental gear includes fenders, a sea anchor and chain, double 24kg CQR type anchors, boom brake system, complete sun covers port and starboard sides from boom to stanchions for total sun protection, and all windows are equipped with both sun screens and total blockout screens. Also a vacuum cleaner, extra heaters and fans, and even an iron for your well presented crew !
