Share in this fabulous syndicate.
Self-managed group with broad experience offer shares in this wonderful 2010 Seawind 1160.
Better than a new boat as all the teething is sorted, TRIM is number 96 off the production line. Delivery costs and GST paid. All systems in place. Turn key operation.
TRIM is a 3-cabin owner's version, home away from home, set up for coastal passage making. Our boat is homeless in the nicest possible sense. She spends her days lazing in Pittwater during the summers and meanders north in Autumn in time for winters in the fabulous Whitsundays. Handovers are typically performed at the marina on Hamilton Island, fly in with your boardies and T shirts and that's about all you need. Seriously; the linen is on board, 3 complete sets plus multiple spare sets for each of the 3 cabins, towels etc. Snorkelling gear and a hooka dive module are permanently on board. A wallet comes in handy for the supermarket on the island, fill the pantry, drop lines and away we go.
Members share the relocation passages as they can, there is a time contribution from each member's annual weeks for relocation passages. It's fantastic; do a small amount of the cruise up or down the coast, or if your timetable precludes, another member will cover. Alternately you might choose to combine your allocation and have extended cruising, it's your time; it's your boat.
Amongst the wonderful benefits of the group is the integrity, open minded cooperative, consultative and considerate approach to the boat, the calendar and most importantly, each other. In the interests of your enjoyment, and equally the interest of the boat and other members, there is extensive orientation and upskill training. Members need, as a minimum, a current boating license for insurance purposes and it is presumed you would have sailing experience. From meagre beginnings, a 4-day minimum liveaboard orientation, with an existing member, is a wonderful time to get to know the nuances of the boat, commencing with identifying the location of the cocktail cabinet and ice trays! Navigation, safety practices, maintenance procedures, boat handling, berthing, anchoring and care for the sails and gear are things we take seriously. After all its about fun and enjoyment. Knowledge and best practice are attributes we all work toward assisting each other to continually grow.
Being a nomad, there are no fixed berthing costs other than user pays during your exclusive calendar time. A hand over night (you walk on and the departing members walk off) is typical in Hamilton Island marina - user pays.
A comprehensive agreement exists. We ask it be considered an expression of understanding of use and responsibilities rather than a contract. Give and take with appreciation of all others is the ethos. If you desire time in school holidays, that's great. If prefer time outside school holidays, that's great. There are advantages to both, some do and other don't want school holidays.
8 weeks allocation of which 1 week is relocation time.
1/6 th share on offer $69,000.
1/12 share considered $35,000 naturally half allocation from above.
