|This vessel is developed from the very successful 11.8m and 12m vessels from search and rescue vessel to open tourist boats with the entry sections fined up to allow for improved performance into head seas. The design is arranged on a flush main deck with a small step-down fwd to the fwd cabin accommodation. With low profile windows the vessel has amazing all round vision and with the fwd raked windscreen offers great internal space, lower cabin temperatures and less glare. Steering position is moved forward to improve LCG and provide for better access to below deck storage. The hull form offers superior at rest and dynamic stability qualities, which allows the vessel to operate without restrictions. The design has a 23-degree dead rise and fine entry, the buoyancy pontoons have been raised at the shoulders to allow the hull form to penetrate more deeply into the waves before the cushioning effect of the pontoons comes into effect.
This allows the vessel to be driven faster for longer, substantially reduces pounding, crew fatigue and allows you to get the best from the boat. The construction method is closely spaced frame and stringer supporting a watertight deck self-draining to the sea.
The vessel has been constructed to meet the requirement of USL/NSCV 2C Classification.
