|‘Spirit of the Gold Coast’ is a 24 Metre Passenger Ship in 1C and 1D survey and licence to carry 175 Persons in 1c and in 1d can carry 190 + crew ‘Spirit’ has been running a daily whale watching programme from the Gold Coast for the last several years during the whale watching season. The vessel was built in New Zealand in 1989 of alloy. She has two Detroit 16V92TA 672 KW 1000 HP diesel engines. The port engine has just been replaced with an engine that had only 37hrs, The starboard engine was replaced October 2013 now has 1300 hours. The boat has been antifouled in April 2014.
The boat is ideally suited for ocean operations and is a stable platform and provides good passenger comfort and amenities.
Due date for the next periodic survey is 29th June 2014, out of water survey done May 2013, compass adjustment April 2014, Shaft survey May 2013 and next life-raft survey on the 20th April 2014.
The vessel also offers a slippery dip and side nets for passenger enjoyment.
The vessel is located on the Gold Coast and is in good operational condition and ready for sale.
