|*** HUGE PRICE REDUCTION - OWNER SAYS "SELL!" ***
Built in Ballina in 1945 and used as a commercial fishing trap boat until 1977, Ocean Brumby has been converted into an ideal boat for entertaining friends and family.
Ocean Brumby is used regularly by her current owner to cruise the waters of Pittwater and Hawksbury, often appearing at local wooden boat festivals, where she hosts the band playing on her after deck, and acts as the start boat for PAC yacht races.
She is maintained to a high standard and was re-corked in September 2005 and last anit-fouled in October 2010. We have a recent 2009 survey report.
The high ceiling wheelhouse is spacious, light and airy and has plenty of storage. Her cabin top has been extended by a canvas awning and has side clears that enclose the after deck entertaining area. Here there is a drop down table that can comfortably accommodate 6 to 8 people seated in directors chairs.
She has a built-in stove/barbeque, 230 litre stainless steel water tank filled from the deck, hot and cold pressurised water, hot and cold shower at back of boat and overnight accommodation for four in a comfortable V-birth and drop down saloon double berth.
She is fitted with a GPS and fish finder, VHF radio, MP3 player, fridge/freezer, electric windlass, electric toilet, dual battery system, 80 watt solar panel and built-in shore battery charger.
She has a new starter motor, water lock muffler and reconditioned gearbox. At the helm she's fitted with a new stainless steel dashboard with modern instruments and has been rewired with halogen free cable.
Under calm conditions, Ocean Brumby can achieve 8.3 knots and cruises comfortably at 1800 rpm giving about 7.4 knots. For more information please contact Yacht Sales Australia on 02 9969 2144 or email sales@yachtsalesaustralia. Com
