2009 refit:
In 2009, an extensive refit was completed. Most of the interior areas including the Master Stateroom, Guest Staterooms, Main Salon, Dining Salon, Sky Lounge, Captains Stateroom, Crew Quarters, and all Heads were completely renovated. All carpeting, wall paper, ceiling treatments, light fixtures, marble surfaces, tile, window treatments, and fabrics were replaced. ‘

Low voltage, voice and data wire were added, wiring and plumbing upgrades and repairs were completed, and a complete new interior was installed.

New features include custom Italian designed marquetry furniture, exotic stone work, fossil art and collectables, all new audio/video electronics, iPod docks throughout, and a centralized Movie/Music/Photo storage system. In addition, wireless internet was installed resulting in a worldwide audio, video, voice, and data capabilities that benefits all guest and crew areas.

In addition to the Air Mar weather station, a Furuno FI5001 Weather station was added. Also, a depth finder was upgraded, a new NavimeteoSat with bi-directional satellite transponder was installed. This tracks and broadcasts Golden Compass position by satellite and provides weather reports and weather warnings.
