|This 2010 model Krogen 44 Wide Body "Maria Elena" is spectacular in both condition and equipment specification! Owners are moving up in a new build.
With the introduction of the Krogen 42' in 1977, Kadey-Krogen Yachts pioneered the full displacement trawler yacht. The Krogen 44' perfected the concept. She's a great sea boat, a proven transoceanic voyager and, just as important, a comfortable liveaboard.
A look around her proves the point. The pilothouse is not only the command center, it is a focal point for conversation and site seeing for the whole crew and a living space doubling as a watch berth. The saloon is large enough for full-size chairs to really relax in and there is cushy L-shaped settee seating to starboard, not to mention that the room opens up to the "back porch" through a large weathertight door. Dining for as many as eight, and the galley is adjacent where two can work comfortably for meal preparation.
Whether you are a solo voyager or a couple with a dream to see the world, the Krogen 44' is an ideal platform for the journey.
Kadey Krogen built 26 of the Krogen 44 between 2004 and 2011.
