Triple diagonal 6-mm Kauri planking sheathed in glass
reinforced plastic, supported by 100 x 25-mm frames @ 950-
mm centres over 25 x 25-mm side & bottom stringers @ 200-
mm centres, with 50-mm & 30-mm deep floors @ 475-mm
centres. 18 & 25-mm plywood water tight bulkheads are in
accordance with survey requirements. The transom stern is
50-mm thick and supported by 25 x 75-mm stiffeners.
KEEL & FIXINGS:
200-mm wide hog, length dead wood with a docking strip
below the hull.
DECK & COACH-HOUSE:
Painted GRP balsa cored sandwich construction on weather
decks and cabin sides. The bridge and cockpit structures are
timber and sheathed in GRP
Oiled teak fit-out. The fore and aft decks
are lacquered laid teak and the saloon deck is carpeted. The
head/shower compartment is moulded in GRP and the deck
heads are panelled laminate.
