|With over $250,000.00 on this Custom CR2800 Whittley in 2007 you will not be wanting for anything. This is a FULLY CUSTOMISED boat and was the second boat out of the CR2800 mould from the Whittley factory. Whittley staff flew to WA to commission this boat.
The current original owner had the boat commissioned to undertake trips to the Monte Bello Islands with additional fuel and additional water capabilities. She is truely a cut above any other CR2800 Whittley's available on the second hand market in Australia currently.
OK, take a seat, grab a coffee there is a bit to explain here...
Fitted with a Mercruiser Sea Core 6.2 Lt fresh water cooled engine, 350 Hp showing just 297 hours with a Bravo iii Duo prop leg this boat will top out above 30 knots with a comfortable cruise at 22 knots using just 2lt per NM. With a main aft mounted fuel tank of 280lt, a second mid mounted tank of 160lt and the ability to hold 5 jerry cans ( included ) across the transom swim platform you have a total fuel capacity 540lt. The engine management is passed through the Navman screen at the helm as well as having the traditional analougue/digital gauge combination. You will not be wanting with this installation.
The helm has all that you would expect from a boat twice her size, Navman GPS, Navman Sounder with high output through hull Transducer, Navman 40 Nm 2kw radar, SIMRAD AP26 auto pilot and an Anchor watch camera on the bow all running through one good sized screen to the port side of the helm, Faria engine gauges digital / analogue, Bennett trim tabs with auto tab system and digital indicators, Navman VHF radio VHF7200, Jabsco remote control search light, Lewmar bow thruster yes a bow thruster ! and a bank or accessory switches second to none.
The galley has a 12v Samsung micro, Waeco fridge / freezer, S/S sink, and a metho twin burner stove with ample storage and custom Whittley crockery and glassware. Well lit by a large window and complete with electric fans for cooling. Take a step further into the cabin and you can utilise the large dinette, the Sony stereo or the Samsung Tv with USB input. If the temperature get a little to hot why not turn on the AIRCONDITIONING via the portable generator or shore power. Yes an airconditioning. The forward berth has a Whittley custom sheep skin cover for ultra comfortable sleeping and Whittley custom manchester to match the crockery and glassware. This is a serious CR2800. Moving back out to the cockpit you pass the head on the starboard side with an electric toilet to holding tank with macerator pump out and a good sized shower recess. There will be no excuses for not looking your best when stepping onto dry land in this boat, your suit can be hung in the forward wardrobe for safe keeping.
Luxury continues in the cockpit with an electric sunroof effortlessly sliding back to expose the forward seating which is nicely shaded by a forward facing custom bimini to keep the sun off your head on those long runs to sea. Open the sliding windows and let the air pass through the boat. The hardtop hides the rear deck table in a clever recess above your head and behind the rear lounge hides a collection of soft handling lines in a deep pocket. Storage here is immense with ice boxes under foot of the skipper and first mate cleverly utilising that lost space, huge space underfloor and huge spaces under the side lounges. Directly under the port side forward seat lives the Airconditioning, did I mention that already ? yes airconditioning. Roll the rear lounge forward and you reveal the engine, house batteries, chargers and major breakers all typically beautifully installed by Whittley in Victoria.
One of the best rear swim platforms in the business comes from Whittley with a huge under platform storage bay, wrap around S/S rails with 7 rod holders, 2 S/S fender baskets and a mounting bracket for the tender outboard. Drop the Sovereign BBQ in place and cook up a storm. Covered in a cork decking the luxury just does not stop. This is also shaded by a second custom made rear facing awning. I have just never seen a CR2800 decked out like this... Its is AWESOME.
Full removable rear camper covers with roll up sections to allow the breeze to flow through coupled with a set of internal black sun covers to darken the boat if you use the rear double berth. A front windscreen cover for additional protection and a full set of bow to stern covers for when the boat is on the lifter or on the trailer at home or at the club. No expense was spared in ensuring the boat would be protected when not being used.
Full bow rails going forward for extra safety for the family, Second table for the rear deck which doubles to form the cross beam berth, LED lighting throughout, cabin fans, 65Wt regulated solar panel to batteries, CTEK trickle charger battery maintenance chargers, Xantrex battery charger, Hydrive hydraulic steering upgrade, Lewmar anchor winch with 5/16 short link chain and a S/S Bruce anchor, 6 Stormy Seas safety yoke style jackets and 5 additional zip up safety jackets, 60 lt hot water system, windscreen wipers, first aid kit and more.
The Mackay trailer is simply over built for the job. Rated at 3750 kg it is the Mackay Premium series Aluminium with 8ply 16" Sunrasia rims with bearing buddies throughout. This was custom made on the request of the current owner to tow to Exmouth with ease. Full drive on capabilities the winch is almost there for show. Electric hydraulic brakes and oversized heavy duty jockey wheel with LED trailer lights make for a serious setup. Side adjustable trailer guides can be pulled in to make the trailer legal to tow and the 70mm tow ball ensures you cover the regulations with ease. Ive seen alot of trailers in my time and this rates right up there with the best of them. This is a serious trailer designed to tow from Perth to Exmouth and return without a care.
