One owner, galley up, three cabin owner's version, this catamaran has cruised the Australian east coast, Pacific Islands and Asia since she was launched. She was designed to be a long distance fast cruising boat that could perform as well as many racing boats but be easily handled by two people. She effortlessly sails at wind speed in winds upto 20 kts and even at these speeds is easily handled by two people.

The spacious cockpit is excellent for entertaining and the twin steering stations provide unrestricted vision forward as well as a great vantage point for trimming the sails while under way.

The forward 4 metres of the vessel is stowage and sealed off from the rest of the hull. As well there is a collision bulkhead 600ml deep the full height of the stems and the lower one third of the forward 4 metres of the bows are sealed off from the upper two thirds.

The interior has a clean, practical two pack painted finish which not only saves weight but also makes the saloon and cabins feel spacious. The two opening hatches forward in the saloon keep it cool and well ventilated.

The cabin floors in the hulls are sealed into multiple compartments and are just above water level.

The aft 3.8 metres of each hull is sealed off from the remainder of the hulls and has a sealed floor, reinforced into multiple compartments around the carbon fibre skeg and rudder fittings.

The engine rooms, accessed via the aft bunks to keep the weight centered within 2.2 metres of the centre of buoyancy have a sealed false floor, except where the shafts pass through. All exits from the engine rooms are above the level at which the water would be if flooding were to occur. Through hull fittings for the engines are in a separate compartment forward of the engine rooms with access above water level. This allows easy cleaning of sea water strainers without getting salt water all over the engines.

She has a top speed under motor of approx 11 kts and cruises at about 8.5 on two engines @6litres/hour or 6.5 on one engine @ 3 litres/hour.
With a fuel capacity of 550 litres it gives a motoring range of over 1100nm. The fuel is contained in two aluminium tanks on the wingdeck. They have drains at the low points and can be removed through the deck hatches in about 15 minutes. They have fillers that can accommodate the large commercial fuel nozzles. CAV filters are next to the tanks.

She has just been totally repainted with two pack polyurethane paint and the mast has been fitted with new standing rigging (9 May 2015).
