|Sea Jay 455 Haven Sports at John Crawford Marine Ph: 07 3890 2322
The team at John Crawford Marine have uncovered a genuine sports angler's package and proudly bring this rig to the market for the next fortunate owner to take advantage of a very long list of quality fishing accessories fitted to this quality side console Seajay 455 Sports Haven aluminium package.
From the get go / order of the Sea Jay, all fittings had to be purposeful, positioned in the right place and offer functionality to assist in chasing the big one, yet be simple to operate and not to clutter the boat too much. For the angler whom enjoys trolling, you have at your fingertips a "Scotty" Down Rigger that is fitted to the stern starboard quarter, ideal when the mackerel are down 30 feet where most trolled bibbed lures just can't reach on their own... Or if live baiting is your thing, the large oval shaped plumbed live bait tank may come in handy?
The helm is comfortable in design and execution even for larger blokes like me to sit comfortably and not have my knees around my ears... The side console is well presented with a set of Yamaha digital engine gauges along with the GME 27 meg radio and the large screen Humminbird 917C combo sounder / GPS unit. Please note that the unit is operational however the screen is showing signs of delaminating as pictured. It is sold as it is presented on this rig. The Humminbird also has included the Navionics map card as an added bonus.
Every boatie loves the new generation 4 stroke outboards, and this rig has been upspecked at the time of order to have a legal 70Hp Yamaha EFI four stroke fitted. This 2010 model motor has recorded via both the gauge and computer diagnostic report a very low 57 hours. The motor has also had the factory fitted standard prop removed and also upgraded with a Solas stainless steel propeller. Naturally the motor like all JCM engines sold comes with the peace of mind of a BIA limited engine warranty.
If you enjoy flicking lures and the odd fly, the forward bow casting platform is your spot - no clutter and with the bimini top folded down you can cast away! The top deck is carpeted to assist with sure footing especially if throwing a large diameter cast net.... Under this foredeck a load of available storage is offered again ideal for ground tackle and odd and ends seldom used, but things you want on hand...
Look at the transom photo carefully, yes the rig is fitted with electric trim tabs. If you haven't used a side console before, many have a horrible tendency to heal over on the driver's side and bang like mad in choppy water.... In the event of lateral side to side heal due to either wind or load, this boat easily overcomes and heeling with the touch of a button! Expensive but so worth it!
As you can probably gather the team at JCM love quality boats with quality fittings, and yes we could write more, but Ill pull up here and list the accessories and features for you:
