|Proven, fast, bluewater passagemaker. Meltemi is incredibly well set up for ocean crossings and could set off for a circumnavigation tomorrow.
This vessel would also suit a live aboard and has been used as such for extended periods. Well protected aft cockpit. A boat well set up for short handed sailing. Easily reefed.
Vessel has had an extensive maintenance programme with internal and external up grades including:
o added one metre stern scoop with ladder
o total repaint
o new electrical wiring
o new radar and plotter 2008
o New mainsail finished and fitted May 2015
All sails have been regularly checked and serviced by Ryan Sails as per maintenance programme annually.
All additions and modifications to this vessel were completed in consultation with local Victoria boat builder and Graham Radford.
Regularly surveyed with most recent occurring in December 2014.
With all modifications and additions the vessel is now known as a Radford Adams 16 metre

||A well maintained comfortable fast cruising or long distance racing vessel set up to be sailed two handed or for family cruises. The current owners are the second owners of the vessel and have owned her for 23 years.
The vessel competed in 1995 Two Handed Melbourne to Osaka Race, then cruised across the Pacific to Canada, where they cruised the area and lived aboard over a winter before competing in the West Marine Pacific Cup San Francisco to Hawaii race in the Two Handed Division and then cruised via Pacific back to Australia. All together they lived onboard the vessel full-time for 24 months.
The vessel also competed in many Bass Strait Races with ORCV, multiple club races in Port Philip Bay and many Victorian cruises.
The vessel comes with a full set of original boat plans, also all original documents are available.
A major feature of the vessel is the safety both below decks and on deck. Multiple handholds have been installed to ensure safety for people on-board.
Will suit a couple or family interested in sailing safely, quickly and in comfort over long and short distances.
