The Ansjo Steel Ketch is Designed by Anders Henningsson and built in Corten steel by the Mek Halstahammer Yard in Sweden. With 6mm thick hull and 5mm deck. This boat is very well equipped for long distance sailing and has been well maintained.
Providence of Portree was purchased for her strength and other expedition qualities, and has taken her current owners from the west coast of Scotland to the southwest Pacific via such places as The Falkland Islands, Antarctica and the Patagonian fjords. She has proven herself in all conditions and the owners have always felt comfortable taking friends and loved ones to remote areas on her.
