|'Motion', a Bounty 35, is a superb example of a cruising Bounty 35, currently used as a cruiser/racer in Jervis Bay NSW. As a cruiser she is a comfortable and spacious weekender and is also suitable for extended cruises. As a club racer she shines being the club champion for the last 2 years as well as taking out many of the series races.
She has a shipwright teak fit out and a full GRP headliner.
Her sail wardrobe includes: main and spare main sail; trysail; genoa; No. 4 jib; and spinnaker in sock. For convenience the main sail stores easily in the boom bag with lazy jacks.
She comes with headsail furler; electric anchor winch (new); Raymarine chartplotter which connects via NMEA to the other instruments; Tacktick wind, log and depth instruments; Garmin GPS; and a second depth sounder. She was rerigged in 2012 including a new furler and new boom. The mast was removed for painting at the same time. She has double spreaders and a hydraulic backstay. All lines except the main halyard lead back to the cockpit. Auxiliary power is from a 23HP Volvo via a sail drive with folding prop. The engine is cooled via a heat exchanger so no sea water flows through the engine cooling jacket.
She comes with VHF, 27 Meg, TV and JVC sound system with DVD player. Power is supplied from 2 x 80 amp hour house batteries plus start battery. The 120 watt solar panel mounted on the targa bar ensures the batteries are always charged.
She has a comfortable double V berth, spacious port and starboard quarter berths, and a sea berth in the main saloon. The saloon table can also be converted to a double berth.
The galley has a twin burner gas stove (new Lido junior) with grill and a large ice box. The Galleymate BBQ on the stern rail is perfect for social BBQ's with friends.
