The house sits on 1 acre freehold land with landscaped and productive gardens on Koro Island, Fiji. Open-plan kitchen, dining, living area. Large bedroom, large bathroom. And a huge deck! 10 minute walk to the beach where you can choose which water sport you'd like to indulge or have a drink at the small resort. The house is within a 450 acre development with about 50 houses. Drop your mooring and sail your yacht to Savusavu for provisioning - its an easy 30 miles.
The yacht is a proven blue-water cruiser, we sailed her from Australia to Fiji 9 years ago. She is set up for short-handed, single-handed and family sailing/cruising. She is Fiji duty-paid, Australian duty-paid and Australian registered.
Unfortunately Cyclone Winston did major damage to the house. It still has half the walls and the posts and floors and decks. The roof now sits beside the house, still intact. The house could be rebuilt using what is still there.

- Fully rebuilt the 12v / 240v systems 2008 with an isolator panel to handle 240v from 3 sources (shore, genset or inverter) feeding a single ship's 240v panel
- Mounted an extra 250W of solar in 2011 and and new batteries in 2015, the system easily handles live aboard living. The day fridge is so well insulated we now turn it off before turning in at night - meat stays frozen till next morning
- Hull was stripped back to glass 2007, minor osmosis ca. 15 small blisters treated, completely faired, re-primed and 3 coats wet on wet painted. New timber toe-rails fitted with old hole pattern sealed and coated. New heavy duty bow cap/roller fitted. Various "toe catchers" removed from deck with all holes sealed
- Repainted below decks 2011 with anti fungal paint (mould is a major issue in the tropics)
- New dodger and bimini made in 2012 using O'Sea PVC clear for dodger windows and Mariner Hooding canvas for dodger and bimini
She is currently in Vuda Marina (near Nadi International Airport) for the cyclone season. Viewing the boat there will mean a flight to Nadi Airport then a 30 minute taxi ride to Vuda Marina.
We have been cruising on Koro since 2005; leaving Brisbane in 2006 we spent 6 months in New Caledonia and Vanuatu before heading to Fiji. Since arriving in Fiji we have built a lovely home on Koro Island where we have lived for the past 8 years. We have loved our time on the yacht and the island but have reluctantly decided to sell both - either separately or as a package. We are open to negotiation.
