|A fiberglass Custom 44 centre cockpit ketch rigged, mono-hull professionally built by Joseph L. Correia in Vancouver, Canada and is the 17th hull from the molds. The Custom 44 was based on the Bruce Roberts Offshore 44 design. It was then outfitted by shipwrights from the luxury boat building industry in Vancouver area.
It has cruised extensively from Vancouver, Canada to USA, Mexico, French Polynesia, Society Island, Cook Island, Niue, Tonga, New Zealand, Fiji, Vanuatu, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, East Malaysia, and Borneo, Brunei, Philippines, back to East Malaysia, Singapore, Malaysia & Thailand. It currently spends it time between Malaysia and Thailand.
In 2010 it spent a year in Port Carmen, Philippines being extensively refurbished both inside and out, including the addition of a beautiful and comfortable hard dodger with tempered glass windows. In Thailand it has also gone through a complete bottom job including peeling and re application of bi-axial cloth with West System epoxy and materials. This project was completed in 2014.
It has been a wonderful, comfortable and inexpensive vessel to operate.
Recent additions and upgrades of 450 watts of solar panels, 500 AH LiFePo4 battery and Blue Sky SCC MPPT monitoring system provides more than ample 12 V power. (Voltage is normally 13.2V)
Extensively refurbished within the last five years with ongoing upgrades in the last twelve months, the yacht has been tailored to cruising for her owners who have sailed to Asia from Canada, two handed. It is quite capable of being single handed with most control lines leading to the cockpit with individual line stoppers. The yacht has been re painted inside and out, and the interior designed to suit very comfortable living.
Price: $84,950 USD
