Modelled on the traditional lines of a North Sea trawler yacht with distinctive European features including a high bulwarked bow and rounded stern, this well found luxury ketch offers the best of both worlds. With a full sailing rig, she's an efficient, long range bluewater passagemaker coupled with twin turbo John Deeres ensuring that scheduled landfalls aren't dictated by the wind's fickleness. From the Hong Kong yard of Cheoy Lee, she was Hull #18, the final hull of the famed Cheoy Lee 52 mould originally cast in the late 1980's. Remaining as shipbuilder's stock until the 2004 purchase by a group of likeminded Kiwis who shipped her across to New Zealand, consequently commissioned Motor Yacht Builders of Whitianga and a team of 43 marine suppliers taking over the refit to bring her to ultimate completion, splendidly launched in April, 2007.
