|"Greta" is a great example of these iconic vessels. The Couta Boats are not just historic show pieces, they are fun day boats and you may even be tempted to do a little racing.
"Greta" was restored by Tim Phillips, the Sorrento based Couta Boat expert and shipwright in the late 1980's. Purchased by the current owner in 1993 and relocated to Hobart in 1996. She is being offered for sale reluctantly because the owner is moving overseas.
The boat has been well maintained. Much of the maintenance has been carried out by a shipwright.
