||Accommodations include (3) double cabins and (2) heads. Starting forward is a large sail locker accessed from the deck hatch which is isolated from the rest of the yacht by a watertight bulkhead. Aft of the watertight bulkhead is the owner's head and shower. The Owner's Cabin features a queen size berth, with bookshelves outboard and vanity forward, two hanging lockers and shelves to starboard, reverse cycle air conditioning and Espace diesel heater. The large private head is located forward with tub & shower to port, head and sink center, and storage to starboard, equipped with SeaLand Vacuflush marine toilet.
Continuing aft is the large Main Saloon with an L-shaped settee and dining table to port, straight settee with foldable desk to starboard, followed by the long large Galley area to port, perfect for entertaining.
Opposite the Galley to starboard is the large Navigation Station, followed by access to the Engine Room and controls. All the way aft are the two Guest Cabins port and starboard, equipped with reverse cycle air conditioning, espace diesel heater, Hella turbo fans and curtains. These are identical cabins with double and single berths over in each, hanging locker storage, and there is a guest head to starboard forward, with head, shower, sink and vanity.
Lee cloths are included for each bunk, 12v Hella turbo located throughout the interior, and there is ample light and ventilation provided through the numerous large opening bomar hatches and ports. Additional feature is a Tewksberry copper and tile wood/charcoal fireplace.
The interior finish is of the finest hand-rubbed teak panelling and veneer (Brunzeel plywood), to typically Finnish standards. All floorboards are teak and locked into position in the soles so that no movement is allowed. All floorboards were sprayed 2004, and in excellent condition. Ample storage is located beneath floorboards. New headliner, lighting and Corian counter tops were installed 2003.

||On deck, the 2-62 has a well designed cockpit arrangement. There is a forward cockpit, designed so it accommodates a fully enclosed dodger. You then walk aft on the bridge deck, with hand rails on each side for security, and step down into the aft sailing cockpit. The winches and helm are located here so you can sail the boat without interfering with those seated forward. The intermediate bridge deck is a nice lounging area too.
The combination of forepeak sail locker and lazarette area give you an enourmous amount of storage space for the ships and crews gear.
On deck hot and cold fresh water shower, two swim ladders aft and port side, dingy davits, outboard rail support and two convenient deck lockers all cater to the water activities, dive and snorkel gear and other water toys. Her flush deck provides a stable working platform when under way and solid equipment and a simple rig make maneuvering trouble free. Tacks and jibes can be done by one person at the helm station. Large hatches provide excellent ventilation at anchor and multiple dorades keep spray out when under way.

||The Deerfoot 262 is a fast cruising yacht, made in Finland by craftsmen of the region where the famous Nautor and Baltic yachts are built. She is the second of four Deerfoot 262's built. The previous owner has refitted and maintained her over his 15 years of ownership, and the current owner has updated and maintained her at blue water ocean crossing level.
Total refited in 2003, new electronics in 2005 and new mast, sails and rigging in 2006, she is practically new and all systems have just been put to the test of 8000 nautical miles! Built in Finland by Skandi Yachts top quality specs, she is in pristine condition
