|We bought this vessel overseas and have sailed her back to Australia as part of our honeymoon. She is a good solid boat and is now looking for a new home.
We spent a lot of time and money cleaning it up after her former owner let her sit. Was chartered for 5 years then privately owned. We picked it up in July and sailed across the Atlantic, only damage was we needed to replace spinakker halyard, which we have done. Trip across Pacific took just 19 days and only damage was we snapped boom topper. Across the whole pacific we have had no issues with her.
It's a great boat, very big for a 43 footer. It has 3 or 4 cabins as front cabin is convertible. A wall pulls out and bunks can convert to settee. 2 heads means cabins are big.
Fitted out for cruising with wind generator and solar panel on davits. This allows you to run the fridge 24/7.
Full charter inventory available with pots, pans, plates, sheets, pillows etc.. New sails in August 2015 for trip. Davits, 3.1m Zodiac Yachtline tender with Honda 2.3hp outboard.
Bad points - There is a small kink in the boom. It has been like since we've owned it and have sailed over 15,000nm with it the way it is. No charts in plotter. Rub Rail is scratched for a fair amount of the boat and the starboard aft secton is missing about foot. All cosmetic stuff, nothing structural.
Good points - Sails really well, huge boat for a 43footer. With solar and wind you can run fridge 24/7. Engine runs very well. Rigging all checked recently with some replaced, new sails.
This is an excellent value boat and more the size of a 46-47 footer for room. Easy to sail. Sitting now at RQYS in Manly Brisbane. We have just finished Antifouling boat including stripping keel back to bare steel to reseal it properly. Done in Augus 2016 so good for another year or two pending use.
We have priced the boat according to what we want for it so please don't think it will be sold for $100K as it is a great value boat at $125K. There are others on the market at $185K and $155K for same year. We priced this at a realistic price and with a bit of cosmetic work to clean her up.
