|Launched new in mid-2011, this Elan Impression 444 is listed exclusively for sale with YOTI on Pittwater.
In Namadgi, we find a yacht set up and used for exactly the purpose Rob Humphreys had in mind with his design; that is comfortable, easy, coastal and blue water cruising. Namadgi has cruised the East Coast and partly into the Pacific. A regular and professional maintenance schedule has been completed since launch and the yacht has only recently been anti-fouled in November 2016. This Elan Impression 444 has been chosen in the three double cabin layout with an additional twin cabin. The large saloon features a massive folding dining table - larger than we've seen on any other vessels in this class, yet still allowing for clear passage way walking forward. Sensible hand holds exist backing up the design brief for not just an elegant cruiser, but a vessel built for blue water sailing. There are two heads and showers with holding tank. A practical well specified navigation station sits to starboard while the big L shaped galley is to port. Hull windows have increased in number and size since previous models and light flows into the interior through these and the massive saloon skylights with blinds. The generator, water maker, auto-pilot, solid sail wardrobe and good safety inventory make Namadgi very fit for purpose.
On our test sail we also found a yacht very easy and comfortable to simply take for a short day sail with lots of room for family and friends. The twin wheels, big cockpit and large folding swim / boarding platform are all features that are very well laid out and simply work.
Namadgi is available for inspection on the marina at our Pittwater office. Please contact Peter Mactier for further details.
