Carvel planked of Huon Pine on Huon Pine frames. Deck is laid Huon Pine.
28 feet long. Draft 4 feet
Extensively renovated in 2010 by Couta Boat Specialist Mark Abbott of Corsair Boats in Rosebud. Full strip and repaint and revarnish. Windows replaced.
Cast Lead external ballast approx. 500 kg and cast internal ingots made specifically for the boat.
Mast Gaff and Boom clear grain one piece timber sections. All halyards new. All pulleys new. All standing rigging renewed including Stainless Steel wire and rigging screws.
New 40hp Yanmar, now with a total time of 16 hours. New muffler and exhaust. New 3 blade Propellor with PropSpeed, shaft and Aquadrive thrust unit.
Kobelt engine controls, with new morse cables.
Main Sail new and Headsail recut by Mark Rimington, sailmaker specialising in Couta Boat sails.
2 New Optima gel sealed batteries, with a separate house and starting system. New BEP electrical switch panel. New wiring right through boat. New bilge pumps, manual and electric.
Fresh Water - new Stainless Steel tank, 80 litres capacity and a new pressure pump
Fuel - new Stainless Steel tank of 80 litres capacity.
New Stainless Steel CQR anchor stowed on a custom made heavy duty double bow roller. Electric anchor winch. New warp chain and rope.
Garmin GPS/Plotter/Depth sounder.
Raymarine Auto pilot.
Auto Bilge Pump.
