|This new offering from Yachtdomain, the Hanse 415 is an ultra modern, European styled sailing machine with uncluttered decks and spirited performance. She is designed with the performance cruiser in mind, with a good balance of luxury and practicality. Launched in August 2012, and well maintained since new, she will not disappoint the discerning yachtsman. She offers ample freeboard, plumb bow and flat transom, making her a dry and stable boat under the most testing conditions. Her owner chose the fully battened mainsail option and it is clear most of the horsepower comes from the mainsail. The mast is noticeably forward of center and the boom comes all the way back to the transom, allowing for a large (565 sq. Ft. ) and powerful mainsail. The jib is a single-sheet, self-tacker, unique to Hanse. The jib sheet connects to a traveller-like arrangement forward of the mast replacing the need for a jib-boom. First impressions on boarding are of uncluttered decks, and cockpit. All lines are cleverly led aft underneath molded runners on deck and then into molded cockpit lockers. The entire boat is noticeably lacking in trip hazards and toe-stubbers. The transom drops down "tailgate" fashion, which is becoming the popular norm for swim platforms on much larger yachts. Her twin helms are engineered in a unique Hanse rack and pinion steering system which allows each wheel to be independent. If one steering mechanism fails, the other can compensate, hence no emergency tiller is required on board - the other helm is the emergency tiller.
The Hanse 415 offers twin steering wheels, powerful hull design, and well-engineered deck layout for exhilarating and uncomplicated sailing, and a look of pure elegance and style. Her interior accommodations feature a three cabin layout with the master forward and the two guest staterooms aft. Underway either under sail or power she is easily maneuvered thanks to the large balanced spade rudder and deep T-bulb keel. Topsides, everything is as it should be on this yacht with uncluttered decks allowing free access to all points in even the harshest conditions. Large electric winches do all the hard work with ease and let you sit back and enjoy the pure essence of sailing.

||Down below, the Hanse 415 does not disappoint, starting with the companionway steps. Unlike some companionways, which have steep, ladder-like stairs, the Hanse 415's companionway steps are built on a shallow angle that make them very easy to descend. This is important when the weather turns boisterous. The extra wide companionway opening and the oversized clear plastic companionway hatch also contribute to the open and airy feel in the saloon. Straight lines and 90 degree angles on the interior cabinetry gives the perception of more space. Her interior cabinetry and doors are substantial, including hardware more like what you find in a home than on the typical cruiser/racer. On coming down the five companionway stairs you have the galley to starboard and the large main saloon forward with a large drop leaf dining table and u shaped couch to starboard that does pull out to a double berth. To port you have a large head with electric marine toilet and separate shower stall. She has a navigation station to port forward of head with setees either side which drops down to form a single berth with a new Majestic television on fwd bulkhead. The master berth is forward again and is a comfortable suite with center-line berth, a desk and ample closets and storage. Natural lighting and ventilation is provided by one of the many flush deck hatches that are an important feature of this yacht. Returning aft through the main saloon the twin double berths are accessed either side of center-line. They are roomy berths with plenty of locker and hanging space. The interior is completed in high quality marine plywood, American Cherrywood, satin finish and the floorboard are Acacia style throughout. All deck hatches with Ocean Air blockout blinds and flyscreens and all portlights with Ocean Air drop down blinds. All in all she has clean crisp lines throughout the internals backed up with traditional use of quality fixtures and fittings.|
