|H28 "Soraya" Timber Classic.
Soraya was slipped and stripped back to bare Jarrah below the water line in 2015 and above the water line in 2014. Deck replacement was performed on both Port and Starboard sides March 2016.
The top deck were completely stripped back to the Dinel in April 2016 and totally repainted top sides. Toes rails replaced on port side March 2016.
Soraya has also had two complete Surveys conducted over the last several years for Insurance purposes which shows she is in great condition structurally.
The yacht has a very successful racing history, being one of the very competitive yachts within the H28 Fleet at SoPYC of which there are a large number of H28, s competing on a regular basis Saturdays & Wednesdays.
As the owner, we are planning to travel overseas for an extended period thus the need to sell the boat to a new owner who will get the same enjoyment as we have over many years.
15/8/2016 I have just had contact from the Son of the person that built this yacht, and shortly I will have photo's of its original construction - which is part of the H28 History.
Soraya is penned at South of Perth Yacht Club C8 Jetty for inspection.
