|The Lord Nelson 41 is a beautiful classic double ender, built to last and maintained by her owners as if their life depended on her. Only 52 of these carefully crafted yachts were designed and built in Taiwan; the Lord Nelson has many features which make her an outstanding blue water cruiser, and sails well on all points. She was built to cross oceans in comfort and safety, and to provide an elegant home base at anchor. She is fully teak lined, insulated and well ventilated, making her comfortable in summer, and has an Espar diesel heater to make her cosy in cooler climats. A true blue water cruiser, she is ready to go again at a momentís notice.
She has cruised in comfort the tropical waters of the South and North Pacific Oceans, and the cooler climates of Taiwan, Japan and South Korea, and is being offered for sale, reluctantly because I can longer sail her alone.

||Shadow of Lorelei is currently located in the secure and beautiful resort/marina of Sutera Harbour Marina, at Kota Kinabalu, Borneo, Malayasia. From here it is a short distance to cruise the rest of Borneo, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and the rest of Malaysia, returning to Sutera Harbour as a base. Airfares from Australia and other parts of Asia are low, as are marina fees, so it is quite reasonable to keep her in KK and cruise the region when time permits. Shadow of Lorelei is an Australian Registered Ship, GST paid, so she would GST import duty free for eligible purchasers who wish to return her to Australia.
She needs to be sold as I no longer have a cruising partner to help sail her. She is ready to cruise.
Further information and photos, as well as a history of her owners and construction, can be found at sailblogs. Com/member/shadowoflorelei.
