|Heading Liberty is a Pacific Seacraft Mariah 31 and is sailing into Sydney in July after spending a year crossing the Pacific Ocean during her latest voyage. This is a pedigree ocean cruiser excellent for couples dreaming of sailing the world or for those planning to live a board.
Her greatest strength is the safety she offers and when the seas turn to mountains you will feel at ease with her forgiving balance and stability. My wife and I have spent the last year sailing from Mexico to Sydney and exploring the islands in between. Before setting sail across the Pacific Ocean we gave her a complete make over by installing new standing and running rigging, replaced all the chain plates, professionally painted the mast and deck, new interlux anti-foul and rebuilt her Yanmar engine as well as having all her hatches taken out, cleaned and resealed. Making Heading Liberty ready to sail into the sunset for at least another 20 years. All the hard jobs are done.
We will update this page with photos and more information when we reach Sydney in the meantime please check out our photos of the boat and our adventures on our facebook page:
