Hull built by Vancouver Yacht Company in Canada. Laid up to Lloyds specifications. Solid core fibreglass. Hull is 1" thick at turn of the bilge and ½" thick at topsides. Integral keel with 4 tonnes of lead, bonded in to the keel and glassed over (no steel).
Rudder stock through a 2"Cutless bearing (top and bottom), stainless steel cap bearing at base and 2" packing gland.
Stainless sheet framed rudder, glassed over. The rudder is easy to remove if necessary.
From the bow. Large sail locker, access into forward cabin. Two bunks and plenty of storage. Moving aft, on Port a double cabin, with lots of storage space. On starboard, opposite this cabin is an excellent sea-bunk with a partially solid "sea-cloth" if necessary. Further aft on is the saloon, with a four seater table athwartships and lots of shelving/storage. Opposite this table is a settee. On Port, is the galley, lots of storage and ample work space, housing the brilliant fridge/freezer (keel water cooled) that consumes very little power. Further aft (through the galley) is a large double cabin with big storage areas. The mattresses are very comfortable and ventilated. On Starboard is further storage followed by the head/shower/bath and access to the engine. Amidships (between the bathroom and galley) are stairs, leading up to a internal steering console in the pilot house. Excellent visibility with all instruments and chart table. This then leads to the cockpit with the external steering wheel, soft dodger, again with excellent visibility. Cockpit has a swivel table, which works perfectly at sea, it can be tucked aside, and used in port with ease. The cockpit is comfortable and feels very secure when at sea. Further aft, hatches for the aft cabin and lazarette.
All offers considered.
