This is a cruising version with the 3/4 ling fin keel with lead ballast. The longer keel makes her track better in any kind of seaway and heave to better if the going gets tough. The ballast has a shallow draft of 4'3" which enables her to sneak into anchorages not available to deep keelers. The fit out below in fairly simple in cedar and brushwood, there is a double v berth and two settee berths in the saloon. Since 2007 a lot of money has been spent getting her up to a good standard for extended cruising. She has coated with polyurethane on the inside to keep her cool, outside is primed and coated with 5 coats of Altex two pack epoxy making for minimal maintance. While there are certainly flashier boats on the market but it would be hard to find a better valued vessel.
