Tunamoon is fully equipped and operational as is fully functional as a tuna longliner. It is currently surveyed to Australian standards and is fully compliant with the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) and Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) requirements.

The vessel has been maintained to a very high standard by the owners and has recently had a new Mitsubishi air conditioning system, 2 new bait freezers and a new stainless-steel rod steering ram installed in the last month. Main engine has been replaced with John Deere 6135 in 2013. Genset engine Mitsubishi S4K replaced in 2015. This engine drives a 45 kva macolti alternator 3 p phase. This alternator has had its bearing replaced and cleaned out when the engine was installed. Also, the vessel has just undergone yearly survey.
