Remarks
From a boat broker's perspective, this XSR48 is a remarkable vessel with a prestigious history. BThe manufacturer, XSMG World, capitalized on this success by introducing the XSR48 Superboat series, often referred to as the "Bugatti Veyron of the sea" and priced at £1,500,000 before taxack in 2007, it secured a spot in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's fastest diesel-powered production boat, reaching a staggering 100mph. Es. Subsequently, this specific XSR48 was transformed into a proof of concept prototype to promote a new range of high-speed interceptor vessels for military and security applications. Its outstanding performance owes much to the BUZZI 48 STAB triple stepped hull and running gear designed by the renowned Fabio Buzzi at FB Design, which has excelled in various domains, including racing and record-breaking. The boat boasts a top-tier design and construction pedigree, with contributions from RWD for external styling, Green Marine (now Vitters Shipyard) and Gurit for composite structural engineering, Green Marine for composite construction, and an experienced in-house team for systems engineering. Berthon Boatyard handled the fit-out. Currently, this XSR48 is undergoing preparations for its next chapter, with the removal and servicing of its ZF Trimax 2200 surface drives and rudders, engine bay refurbishment, and the inclusion of Ullman Atlantic suspension seats and ZF 312TS twin-speed gearboxes in the cockpit. With its impressive features and meticulous care, this boat is stored on a custom cradle with heavy-duty casters, ready to embark on its new owner's adventures. Plus the weapons station now removed can be easily made functional!
