First launched in 1997, professionally built in Goolwa by Roly Bartlett, this vessel embodies classic craftmanship and timeless elegance. Her presentation, performance, and provenance make her one of the most distinguished vessels of her kind.
Meticulously maintained by its current owner, this vessel presents in outstanding condition both mechanically and aesthetically. The graceful proportions, authentic design, and commanding presence on the water make it one of the most distinguished private vessels of its kind. This is not merely a purchase, it is an opportunity to become the custodian, to take the helm and skipper this truly remarkable boat. Opportunities to acquire a paddle boat of this calibre are few and far between.
It is not possible to list all attributes so we will endeavour to highlight the essentials, leaving ample surprises for ONLY those having a genuine interest in purchasing.
The hull construction is 2-inch Grey Box, on 3-inch steel angle iron frames with 4-inch Red Gum Floors (floors are the beams that the planks are secured to). Recently was expertly caulked with Fixtech marine sealant, and Marine International Intertuf spray painted. Most importantly all works have been carried out by qualified shipwrights, ensuring workmanship and preservation of the vessel's integrity. Decking, including the Roof deck is 40mm Kapur covered with marine ply and fibreglass offering both strength and appeal.
The main deck comprises of a forward saloon combining dining, galley, lounge, bathroom, head, and access to two bedrooms below main deck. On entering you are greeted by a warm, inviting space featuring a centre forward helm with all navigation, and communication at hand. Having electronic independent controls for each paddle wheel, also a body worn remote-control operation, this provides smooth, precise, manoeuvrability and single-handed mooring abilities.
Midship, the well-appointed galley, fitted with all essential appliances and generous storage, combining practicality with the charm required for extended cruising. Aft of the galley lies the spacious lounge, elegantly furnished with two classic Chesterfield lounges, entertainment systems, and a Salamander wood fire, creating a warm and inviting ambience, ideal for relaxed evenings aboard.
Conveniently located on the starboard side is a household flushing toilet, vanity, and Devanti washing machine, providing all the comforts of home. On the portside, the bathroom features a shower, bath, vanity, and additional storage, completing the thoughtful and functional design of the onboard amenities.
