BonnyDoon is a blank canvas thats about the easiest way to describe this local icon of a house boat. She has been around the Mandurah waterways since about 1980 and is well known to the house boat community. The current owner has been running from Mandurah to The Ravenswood and everywhere in between for the last 10 years without issue. Its been a great part of his life he tells me but now its time to move her along. We think the current owner is only the 3rd owner from new.

If you are looking for predominantly a cruising house boat for trips around the Peel region this is the boat for you. It has simple accommodation but the boat was never designed around long stays onboard. Cruising to the rivers and back is just what this boat is about.

About as basic as it could be for hassle free overnighting or as a bolt hole to get away from the city. A simple helm to the Port side along with a basic pine built custom helm double seat with a cushion, your switch panel directly to your left and all you need to operate the boat right infront of you. It does not get any more simple than this !

Stick the keys in, drop the ropes and off you go. No stress if someone spills a drink... There is no carpet but you can install carpet or vinyl planking if you have the need.

A simple and clean bathroom behind the helm with a full size shower and vanity looking your best will be an easy affair. It was all the current owner needed while hiding from the family when they all had Covid recently.

Almost the length of the Starboard side is a recently upgraded galley assembly thanks to a Bunnings flat pack kitchen. Neat and modern in design it holds the sink and all your goodies for a weekend away. Cooking is by BBQ only, the only way to cook on a house boat with a micro option if you want to heat up a quick feed. Keep the weekends food in the stand up Hisense fridge freezer running through 240v or inverter when out in the Estuary. Being away for a week seems to not be an issue with more solar than you could probably ever need on this size boat. 4 x 320 watt panels !

Looking for a nights rest then fold open the Port side couch to a small double with the option of a single on a custom made base to the Starboard side. Simple accommodation for a simple boat. Nothing fancy here but an outstanding time is guaranteed.
