Built in Geelong (Vic) as one of seven between the wars "Viking" served as a naval tender during WW11 then on the yarra ferrying wharf employees, after a period with the Geelong sea scouts "Viking"s first serious restoration was done at Queenscliff in the early 2000's by the previous local owner. Approx 2010 New drive Train including Cummins 40hp (4BT), Velvetdrive Transmission, Propshaft and 3 blade prop were professionally installed.
With a simple fitout she is easily maintained and operated (I reguarly take her out single handed for the shear pleasure).
Many fun days have been had with quite big numbers on board - with a beam of 11'6" and LOA 33' at 6+ ton she sits easily in the water with a big group aboard.
My now adult kids have moved on and sadly so must I, it is time for someone else to have the best value for money day boat going around.
Engine starts and runs first pop - should be serviced.
Currently "Viking" needs to be slipped and given another dose of TLC - hence she is priced accordingly.
A couple of weeks in the slip and she will be back to her former fun self, or spend a little longer and more money to make her a 100 year old show stopper.
Comes with radio, 14 PFD's, some spares
Pole mooring can be available at extra cost
