This beautifully presented cruiser was constructed in 1902 by master boat builder James Taylor of Chertsey England.
Shipped to Australia in 1913 she has a documented history from 1902 to 2020 that is available on request to genuinely interested parties.
The hull is double diagonal planked in teak and designed as a tunnel hull to maintain her shallow draft.
Moorunde has proved her worth not only as a river and estuary boat but has also done some coastal cruising. She would be equally at home on the Swan River W. A. ) as she is on the Murray, lakes and the Coorong in S. A.
In the event she found herself on the Pittwater, there she would be a definite head-turner as she would anywhere.
Originally powered by twin 15hp valveless engines by David Brown & Sons U. K. She has been upgraded to twin Kubota diesels.
Last slipped in September 2020
