"Tamar" was built in Tasmania in 1961, diagonally planked in timber, possibly huon pine. She offers two sleeping cabins and a spacious saloon/galley area which opens to the cockpit area with clear enclosures and a hard-top. The lounge settee also converts to make another double berth. Her raised helm station provides good visibility for the skipper and features GPS, sounder, hydraulic steering and auto-pilot. The Teleflex controls have recently been replaced. Engine is a 84 hp Cummins 4BT diesel with low hours.
"Tamar" has been enjoyed by the current owners for over 10 years and will suit live-aboard or economical holidays on the lakes.
