Engine
2 x C series both 150 hp at the shaft.. Driving through 2 x Nigata hydraulic gearboxes ratio 2.98 to 1 reduction. Engines are keel cooled, and have water cooled exhausts. 240 volt commercial pumps have been very cleverly installed [ with easy back up] to eliminate impeller pumps, that know how to fail just when you need them. The engine bay [ with full head room] is clean with loads of recent work carried out by DEAS services. The Starboard engine had the heads removed, bores checked /valves ground/ new head gaskets The injectors and pumps were over hauled by Diesel Injector Services.. The port engine was completely replaced 200 hours ago [ new long motor ] by DEAS services. The only reason for the replacement was that the owner had the good fortune to come across a complete brand new engine.... Parts are still available for these long stroke slow revving engines from England. This new engine installation, makes this vessel very unique. Your engineer will confirm that this is definitely not a worn out engine space, but one that has been constantly updated for reliable cruising. Twin Racors filters take care of the fuel management. Engine hosing is all in good condition. The current owner is a professional mariner, and this is evident with the systems in the engine room. The boat comes with lots of spares including a new Rolls Royce Starter motor.

Remarks
This vessel has been upgraded and improved by a professional mariner, owner.
All of the systems are simple, and easy explained.
A lot of people purchase an X trawler, and then spend years converting it at huge cost.
Here is a boat that is ready to go. It is tough, and comfortable at the same time, with the built in back up of two slow revving naturally aspirated engines.
