Remarks
Good displacement boats are becoming rare today, and Oceanna certainly is a good one.
What makes for a good timber boat??????
Firstly a recognised and experienced designer [ Herreshoff]
Secondly a very reputable builder [ Norman Wright and sons]
Thirdly experienced owners who have kept up the maintenance.
Fourthly, a boat that has been constantly used, and not allowed to decay.

Oceanna has all of the above
The survey has been carried out by a reputable, honest and recognised surveyer, and it shows that this vessel has a lot of life left thanks mainly to the dilligent work of the current owners, and to the skills of Norman Wright Boat builders.
