Icarus Power Catamaran

Spirit' was constructed by Catamaran Enterprises circa 1995 in GRP. She is powered by twin shaft drive John Deere 6068TFM diesels of 150kw each which give an economical cruise speed of 12kts.


Currently configured as a passenger cruise vessel in the Marlborough Sounds (Enclosed & Inshore waters) for up to 52 persons. 'Spirit' is currently undergoing a mid-term survey with another 2 years to run until the survey renewal date.


She is equipped with a toilet and galley/bar area which includes a gas stove, gas heated hot water, sink, steriliser, and large display fridge/chiller. Additional equipment includes Simrad radar/GPS/sounder, PA system, TV, AIS, and VHF radio.
