SOFKIN II is an excellent example of a Krogen 39', ideally set-up for extended cruising and living on the hook. She has taken her owners to South America and throughout the Caribbean and Bahamas. Her owners have been meticulous about maintenance and record keeping, and it shows. Her hull glistens and her varnish shines, all mechanical maintenance is up-to-date with supporting logs and records. She is ready-to-go in every respect.

Her owners have cruised SOFKIN II seasonally since day one, and she has been dry- docked 6-7 months / year, either covered or in inside storage. Engine and generator hours are relatively low. Her water maker, wind generator and sophisticated charging system allow for long periods away from shore without compromise. If distant horizons are on your itinerary you will definitely want to put SOFKIN II on your short list. Bring you provisions and possessions and begin your own adventure.

SALOON
SOFKIN II's saloon is entered from the fully covered aft deck via an aluminum weather-tight door. To port is a storage cabinet, flat-screen TV, VHF remote and a convertible settee. Forward of the settee is additional cabinet storage, serving area, bookshelves and an opening portlight. To starboard is an L-shaped dinette with pedestal mounted expandable dining table. All cushions are done in Ultrasuede. There are large opening windows with built-in sliding screens to port, starboard and in the aft bulkhead, each with a teak valance and curtains.

GALLEY
The open-faced galley is located forward of the dinette on the starboard side, and provides plenty of work space and storage. Major components include:

Nova Kool 12 volt refrigerator/freezer (New 2013)
Force 10 propane stove / oven
Large stainless steel sink with updated fixture
Seagull water filter with dedicated spigot
Opening portlight

PILOTHOUSE
Up and forward from the saloon/galley is the raised pilothouse, SOFKIN II's control center, The helm console is perfectly laid out with all navionics and controls within easy reach of the captain. Outside access is provided by aluminum weather-tight Dutch doors port and starboard. There is a convertible settee with Ultrasuede cushions and an offset table, perfect for your laptop and morning coffee.

Natural light and ventilation is abundant via 2 overhead screened hatches, the Dutch doors and an opening port in the aft bulkhead. For those rare less than idyllic days the pilothouse is fully air conditioned (or heated).

MASTER STATEROOM
Down and forward is the Master Stateroom with its island queen berth, hanging lockers port and starboard, mirrored vanity, generous drawer and locker storage, an overhead screened hatch, 2-12 volt Hella fans and 5 opening ports. Also, the mattress platform raises to access an additional very large storage area.

The air conditioning air intake for the master stateroom has been reconfigured to pull air in from the cabin and not the bilge as it was originally. This helps keep the cabin much fresher and less humid.

HEAD
Aft of the Master Stateroom on the starboard side is the head with a fresh water Vacuflush head, stall shower with bi-fold door, Corian topped vanity, medicine cabinet and opening port.
