Welcome aboard LULABELLE, a classic Krogen 48 Whaleback trawler. Specifically designed to maximize your onboard living areas, LULABELLE feels more like a two-story home on the sea. Perfect for a liveaboard or ultimate cruising adventure.

What makes the classic Whaleback unique is her continuous single-level main deck, which easily leads you from her "full-body", wide saloon with over 17 feet of beam-to-beam living space, forward to a full size galley, two generous guest staterooms, both port and starboard, and guest head. From there you will enjoy the roomy forward master stateroom with centerline queen bed, large master head and loads of storage. An interior spiral staircase leads you to the second "story" all pro-pilothouse with gorgeous 360° views and access, enabling great sight lines at sea, while making maneuvering easy when docking. Surrounding the pilothouse is a massive boat deck with abundant space for personal watercraft and/or bicycles plus lots left open for entertaining and relaxing. Nicely equipped with hydraulic bow thruster and stabilizers, watermaker, and beyond!

The Krogen 48 Whaleback

Don't be surprised to see a classic Krogen Whaleback cruising to Hong Kong, New Zealand or Athens. Even today, owners of the stalwart Krogen Whaleback love their boats and cruise the world! The full body saloon is a delight of natural light. The convivial galley is nicely equipped, inspiring even reluctant chefs to new culinary heights. Amidships below you'll find two generous staterooms for guests. Forward, nicely private, and roomy is the master stateroom with queen-size sleeping, large master head with shower and loads of storage.

An interior staircase makes it a quick, dry commute from the saloon to the all pro-pilothouse with its nearly 360 ° view enabling great views at sea and facilitating maneuvering when docking.

Surrounding the pilothouse is a massive boat deck with abundant space for personal watercraft and/or bicycles plus lots left open for comfortably handling dock lines. For unlimited cruising, the Whaleback 48? takes you confidently and comfortably to your destination with excellent fuel economy.

Limitless cruising options, incredible storage, and liveaboard capability made the Whaleback a favorite. A direct predecessor of today's Krogen 48.
