Kingston 580

This hardy and seaworthy vessel is reliable, efficient and will take any weather in its stride. The hull and deck finish is sound. It features a reliable and economical Yanmar 2QM20 diesel engine pushing an oversize prop to give an easy 6.5 knots in virtually all conditions. A new cutlass bearing and sterngland packing were fitted in June 2022.
It has a small galley sink with electric pump, porta potti and all cushions are in good condition. I have fitted an additional seat for crew comfort underway. The twin battery configuration allows for short overnight trips and two small solar panels keep the batteries topped up at the mooring.
A 50 litre SS fuel tank with CAV filter and a 50 litre SS water tank are fitted in the bilges.
The age of the vessel and engine is unknown, but expected to be 1980's. It is regularly used and currently moored in Jervis Bay and registered until Nov 2023 (JS145N).
The mooring is not available as I have another vessel to put on the mooring.
