This yacht is fully capable of extended ocean cruising but is easily managed by a couple. Marlow Explorer Yachts are designed and constructed to take the most adventurous seafarers anywhere in the world in safety and comfort.

Constructed from just three major moulds for the hull, deck and liner using Kevlar with core cell foam sandwich material, bound with epoxy and vinyl-ester resins which are vacuum-bagged. This produces an exceptionally strong structurally sound vessel with the result that Marlows are certified by ABS and Lloyds Register and have achieved the Bureau Veritas unrestricted navigation category. This means they also carry CE Category A ocean rating and meet NMMA / ABYC standards.

She is fitted with twin Caterpillar C12 575 Hp diesels with only 2350 Hrs on them, coupled to gearboxes driving shafts with bronze propellers. She cruises at 10-12 knots and if required, will do 18 knots. Generator is a Northern Lights 20 Kva, running both 12 and 24 volt systems.

Accommodation is provided by 4 cabins sleeping 8, the main full width stateroom complete with king bed and ensuite, then fwd and to port are 2 generous twin bunks opposite the shower and head and in the forepeak, is a spacious queen with ensuite. Aft in the lazarette crew / kids accommodation is another 2 single bunks accessed through the main deck hatch and has its own shower and head.

Access to the engine room is separated by a full height sealed watertight door. The engine room is very spacious, has 180 cm head height and provides easy access to all of the machinery including air conditioning units, pumps, fuel tanks, and central sea chest which feeds all engines and saltwater circulating pumps. Fitted with a fire suppression system, and an emergency 240 V driven high capacity bilge pump, safety is paramount.

The u-shaped galley is in the aft part of the raised pilothouse and is beautifully appointed with electric stove, Fisher & Paykel dishwasher, microwave and extractor hood. Huge food preparation area, and ample storage space is provided in cupboards and draws. The dinette is in the forward area of the pilothouse, with plenty of seating. There is a single helm seat for the captain.

The saloon is beamy, light and airy, uncluttered with large pained windows, with teak flooring, seating for 12 on lounges that can double as berths for extra guests and provide plenty of storage space within. A huge TV with Foxtel provides entertainment for all. A full wet bar with dedicated wine fridge, Ice maker and extended cabinetry complete this saloon beautifully. Flowing through the double opening doors out onto aft deck there is space for guests to be entertained. It offers complete protection from the elements with an extended upper deck, while allowing a gorgeous view out to sea or harbor. Whether you prefer intimate seating for two or seating for a crowd, this comfortable and spacious aft deck will accomodate your needs. A single stair to the swim platform below provides easy access for swimming, fishing and dockside activities.

Moving up onto the large hard top flybridge, there is seating around tables for entertaining. A full wet bar with drinks fridge and electric BBQ. The RIB tender with 50 Hp Yahama 4 stroke outboard motor is stored on the aft section of the flybridge and is lifted off into the water by the 500 Kg Hydraulic deck crane.

She is fitted with Naiad fin stabilisers for a relaxing experience on the water. Sidepower bow and stern thrusters make docking easy. The large fiberglass fuel and stainless steel water capacities allow far ranging destinations and the unique and proven hull design guarantees comfort in less than ideal conditions should they arise. She will astonish you with its internal volume.

The proprietary and protected Strut Keels® are used to great success allowing propeller protection and down sea tracking. Like feathers on an arrow, these twin tails guide and stabilize the yacht making heavy downwind running a delight rather than a white knuckle experience.

Whether you plan to visit the the Whitesundays, the pacific islands or New Zealand, she will take you there in comfort and safety.
