From time to time, I come across a real gem and here it is....
And it is being sold with a current out of water condition report showing NIL defects

PACEMAKER was designed by David Pleysier, and influenced by [Naval architect] Raymond C Hunt designs.
Built by respected local boat builder [Graeme Smith] in cold moulded, triple diagonal epoxy construction and externally glassed in epoxy.
Pacemaker is in 2C survey as a charter fishing vessel for 8 plus 2 in Queensland waters only.
First launched in 1986, this vessel has had the good fortune to be owned by some very well known and respected fishing identities.

The current owner has sold and repurchased the boat on 3 occasions. That is true love, and it is a ringing endorsement of respect for a hand built and beautifully crafted masterpiece.

The transom deadrise is 20 degrees and the vessel can travel at 20 knots, burning just under 50 litres per hour in offshore conditions.
Those who know and understand the offshore and game fishing industry will recognise the legendary status of the design team and the skill of the builder.

Now put all of that into a vessel which presents in pristine, immaculate and completely upgraded condition -
and there you have the package which is PACEMAKER.

Both engines were removed in 2018 and overhauled. New prop shaft bearings and seals were replaced at this time, as were two new rudders - along with the throttle system being replaced with mechanical throttles, plus a custom arrangement with built-in redundancy by respected controls company [Marine Control Systems].
The vessels steering system was overhauled in 2020.

In 2020 the 240 volt system was completely removed and replaced. All bonding was removed and a new Maddox anode system was fitted to ensure the longevity of the vessel and its systems. Marine project systems were appointed to run electrolysis tests in 2020. The 12 volt System has been also upgraded.

An upgrade and overhaul of the electronics was carried out in late 2021 by Furuno - where all electronics were removed, bench tested, updated and refitted to the vessel. This includes a new Auto pilot unit. All electronics are now in perfect working order including the radar.

All through-hulls were removed in 2020 and new fittings were installed.

The vessel is painted in two pack acrylic urethane and is in very good condition.

Remarks
A vessel's value is made up of its build quality, along with the brand name of the designer. Next comes presentation, condition then performance, and lastly maintenance. Pacemaker gets a high distinction in all of the above.
If fishing offshore is your game, and the appeal of owning a hand-built and head-turning weapon, then you owe it to yourself to book some time to take a closer look.
As production boats are flooding into the country, it is a real pleasure just to stand back and admire this hand crafted, rare and beautiful creation.
It would not be hard for two dedicated fisherman to share the purchase and running costs. Remember it is in 2C survey.
All care is taken in compiling the specifications and history of the above-mentioned vessel - as supplied by the owner - but no responsibility whatsoever is accepted, and no warranty is granted or extended to any purchaser.
