REDUCED for a quick sale this Steber Flybridge Cruiser 33 Originally from Western Australia and rumour has it, it was used as a Chase boat for the America's cup. The Steber is a great boat well-built and strong enough to with stand any of what could be thrown at it. The layout is fantastic with a large cockpit, walk through saloon on the same level, step down galley, head and v berth. The flybridge is a bonus, perfect for hot summer days or river cruising but having the internal drive station in the saloon means when the weather is not on side you can drive the boat in a protected inclusive area

Originally built by Allan Steber in NSW, for the sole purpose of towing racing yachts pre race, KA1 was built with engines rated at 200hp, instead of the then standard 165hp. Tow props make the vessel highly manoeuvrable at low speeds, while also pulling 21.5kts at max speed rated for 3700 rpm. Local area cruising around 2600 rpm gives a comfy and smooth ride at around 13 kts, and cruise speed of 16-17kts at 3000rpm. These engines are well away from Volvo Penta Recommendation of rebuild at 4500 hrs, with only 2360 hrs on them.

A fuel tank of 400 litres see's KA1 able to tackle the longer trips, without having the carry standalone fuel tanks. 200 litres of freshwater in the forward holding tank, allows for ample storage on trips away. Due to its early days tow profile, KA1 has twin internal ballast tanks (manual) which can be used to trim the vessel for the owners liking.

Updated cockpit dash, with old obsolete systems removed and panels installed to suit. Utilising a Garmin side scan echo sounder, those fishing spots are easily found. UHF and VHF radios in both the Saloon and on the flybridge, make communications easy in the tough times.
