This is a truly a one of a kind ocean going catamaran that was custom built by John Hitch of Yamba in 2003. This comfortable live-aboard Catamaran has an large beam of 9.6m and overall length of 16.75m, with a draft of 1.1m.

The rig is powered by two new Dtorque 111 outboards, which have only 120 hours on the clock. The installation of the new outboards, coupled with mid hull sea-breaking pods and SeaStar Xtreme jackplates was completed in 2016 and provides for powerful, stable and economical ocean cruising.

The unique rig and systems on X-IT are designed for easy single handing while the fine hulls and 1.1m underwing clearance are for sea kindly motion, speed and seaworthiness. Cockpit and accommodation is all on one level (no steps) for easy living. All sail handling is done from the cockpit so you NEVER have to go on deck. Even anchoring is done from inside.

The cabin, cockpit and underside of bridge deck were completely repainted in 2019.
