The aft cockpit is spacious and very functional whilst cruising or at anchor. There is a wrap around seat for crew and guests.
The King Billy and Huon Pine sliding cabin door (with lock) when opened, provides easy entry to the spacious cabin.
There is a fold down Huon Pine skippers seat with folding back rest in front of the Teak timber spoked ships wheeel.
(The steering is hydraulic assisted with new hydraulic ram and lines)
The interior of the saloon is fitted out with all Tasmanian timbers. The main and forward interior coach house beams are laminated Cellery Top pine.
All cabin sides and window frames are of Huon Pine. The engine box lid/table is Teak with Blackwood and Huon Pine trim.
The interior panneling in the main cabin is King Billy yimber.
All fiddles and trim are of Huon Pine.
All timber surfaces have been recently varnished.
There is loads of storage space under the front bunk and in the main cabin.

No expense has been spared in the construction of Charlotte.
The hull is constructed of marine ply double diagonal planking over King Billy longitunal stringers and a Tasmanian Oak keelson.
The hull has 2 layers of 450gm double bias fibreglass cloth and epoxy resin. Filled and faired with Jotafair filler and 5 coats of epoxy high build primer.
Below the waterline the hull has had 3 coats of Jotun Seaguard black antifoul.
The hull above the waterline has been sprayed with Juton Hardtop Polyurethane.
